What we do not do

We set no cookies of our own, use no local storage, run no advertising scripts and have no accounts, so there is nothing to sign in to and no profile to build. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.

Measurement

Page views are counted by Cloudflare Web Analytics. It is cookieless, does not fingerprint the browser and does not retain IP addresses. We see aggregate counts — which pages are read, roughly from where — and nothing that identifies a person.

Prices

When a page shows a nightly price, your browser asks our own endpoint for it, which asks our accommodation supplier. The request carries the hotel and the dates. It does not carry who you are, because we do not know.

Links that leave this site

Some outbound links are affiliate links and are labelled as such. Once you follow one you are on that company’s site, under their privacy policy, and they will normally set their own cookies to attribute the referral. That is how we are paid. We receive back only anonymous, aggregate booking counts — never your booking details.

Hosting

The site runs on Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare processes requests as our infrastructure provider and keeps short-lived operational logs on our behalf.
